Our Review

Scribd is an ebook subscription with an extensive library of ebooks, audio books, comic books, and even PDFs. Not only does this separate it from Amazon Kindle Unlimited’s selection of audiobooks and ebooks and Oyster’s sole library of ebooks, but it also caters to the younger crowd who tends to enjoy reading comic books. Classics such as Watchmen and Captain Underpants are offered. For $8.99 per month, it’s easy to make use of the subscription’s library by involving your family. Get your mother into cookbooks, your father back into comic books, and delve yourself into a list of best-sellers.

What people like

  • Catalog of over 500,000 titles.
  • A bit cheaper than Kindle Unlimited and Oyster.
  • Organization by genre of the title.
  • Variety: ebooks, audio books, comic books, and documents to court cases, self-published books, and more.

What people dislike

  • Missing titles in comparison to Kindle Unlimited and Oyster.
  • A limited selection of best-selling and newer titles.

Scribd is best for readers who like a variety of genres. Whether you like self-help, comics or court cases, Scribd has you covered. Although the selection is limited regarding the new and more popular books, what ebook subscription isn’t lacking in that department based on individual tastes and the constantly updating list of New York Times best-sellers?

The verdict: subscribe to Scribd if you like browsing a variety of literature to pique your curiosity. Who knew that O.J. Simpson was sentenced to 33 years altogether? ## A New Post
